HOW TO FEED A DICTATOR weaves together the stories of five chefs who once cooked for brutal strongmen - Saddam Hussein, Idi Amin, Pol Pot, Pinochet, and Kim Jong-Il. Because of poverty, necessity, fear, or choice, they found themselves serving dictators, navigating fear, loyalty, and complicity in kitchens where, in some cases, the wrong dish could mean death. Blending personal testimony, archival material, and atmospheric imagery, the film explores the moral compromises of those trapped in history’s shadows.
