Documentary trailer for BEAUTY DAY. We just got to watch Jay Cheel’s hilarious documentary about Captain Video. Its really good. Check out the film. It was so well made, and so entertaining. What could have been a simple ‘shockumentary’ about a ‘crazy guy’ was crafted into a sensative film about a free spirit…a guy who hates the corporate work-a-day world and has to find a way out…and create his own idiosyncratic identity. Its also very much a film about filmmaking (akin to American Movie) An entertaining, hilarious, and emotionally generous film. Well done Jay.
